Mel is the first of the Muse sisters to find her Guardian realize they are in a war with the Order, those who believe the Titans will rise again to save mankind. Excellent world-building in present day, and character development of the 9 Muses who will carry the series. There’s plenty of action, suspense, some sex and death, and overall good story line. I’ve already listened to books 2 and 3 and will review with similar enthusiasm.

This book has an interesting story line and characters. It’s got action, steamy moments, and a softer layer.
The narrator was new for me and did a good job, and even sings.

I’m already on book 4 and loving the series. While each book could be read alone, I would advise reading them in order because the stories build on each other. This series pulls you in and build the scenes around you as if you were there.
I haven’t heard the narrator before but am impressed with her ability to create different voices and bring the characters to life.

Gwendolyn Druyor does a good job with the narration of this book. I really enjoy listening to her narrating the story. I know some about the Greek Gods but this is the first time I heard about Zoos 9 daughters. The muse and their guardians. This is definitely an enthralling storyline. This series caught my interest, it has romance, suspense, and the thrills, for sure I will have to read the next book in the series.

Mel is the Muse of Tragedy reborn, Nate is the detective who is investigating her roommate’s suicide. When he keeps being drawn to her and saving her life they realize that he is also her fated protector. I enjoyed this story I was simultaneously pulled in but also couldn’t concentrate on this story. However once the story got rolling I was in fully and wanted to know what would happen. Overall this is a fun book and a great start to a new series. The narration is okay. Not great but not terrible but sometimes distracting , especially with the male voices. I do like how she gave every character a unique sound and characteristics.

Grabbed me and didn’t let go.
Lure of Obsession isn’t my normal go-to kind of story but I am so glad that I listened to this. The premise of the story was interesting and I was intrigued and entertained from beginning to end. Nate is a no-relationship kind of guy. He had a terrible childhood with an abusive father; he has no desire to become romantically involved with anyone. Fate has a way of changing things though. He becomes Melanie’s protector and must save her from the people who are trying to kill her.
This story was full of action and suspense right from the beginning. It also had a nice amount of sexy time and very tender moments with a cute little girl.
This is the first audiobook that I’ve listened to performed by Gwendolyn Druyor and I thought that she did a good job. Some of the male voices didn’t really work that well for me but the main character voices were fine. I’m looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.
