Nocturnes “Just when I think I have a handle on how things will go, we get thrown for a loop. This book has one of the raunchiest scenes in a book I have consumed‼️We get to know Rax on a deeper emotional level. Alcohol has been his crutch for so long he can’t seem to quit. We meet Eve/Lola, a stripper at an exclusive club. I liked seeing both aspects of her character to fully understand her motivations to choose that path in life. Lots of emotions in this story. The narration was sooo good! This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, and Goodreads.”
Jaded – Full Series “This is Jaded, the series, it’s 3 mini books. The beginning of this book had me intrigued since we immediately have our main character, Kari, finding out her fiancé had been cheating on her for quite some time with multiple women right before their wedding. She calls it off and her and her best friends go off on an adventure and move to Maine to leave it all behind. We meet Jake, who she interviews him for a story for the paper. They instantly have a connection. There romance seemed kind of rushed. The L word thrown out way too quickly. I think the plot could have been more interesting. Don’t want to nitpick but the audio had some background noise during portions which is distracting. The narration was sometimes hard to figure out who was speaking; the voices weren’t very different. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Beats “This second book in this series is just as hot and smutty but in a different way. Jinx is the quiet type and not outspoken like Letty, you could say they are complete opposites. Jinx goes through a constant pull between her family back home and being in the present with the band. Jinx and Toombs make eyes at each other but it never goes much past that. Toombs and Rax have a relationship that Jinx cannot understand. Things heat up to 💯 degrees when a proposition is made. This series is definitely NSFW. Lessa Lamb did an incredible job on narration. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Breath of Passion “This is book 3 in the Muse Chronicles series. This book had more fire, literally 🔥 🌶! Rightfully so for the Muse of passion. Erica, the muse, and Reed, the guardian and firefighter, heat things up pretty quick. This story had a lot of action and a different turn of events. This review has been left of Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Legend of Love “This is Book 2 of the Muse Chronicles. Callie O’Conner is the muse of Epic Poetry and a Psychologist working with the Navy. Hunter is a Navy Seal and never expected to feel such a pull towards Callie but things he can’t explain begin to happen. This book had action, some steamy scenes, and danger looming. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Lure of Obsession “The daughters of Greek muses descended from the Greek Gods are reborn along with guardians to protect them. One of the muses is murdered which strikes up an investigation. Nate, a detective, has sworn off relationships until he meets Mel (the muse of tragic poetry), the one he is destined to protect. The Titans want the muses out of the way which complicate things. This book has an interesting story line and characters. It’s got action, steamy moments, and a softer layer. The narrator was new for me and did a good job, and even sings. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Bear Creek Brides: Books 9 – 12 “This boxed set is the books 9-12 in the Bear Creek series. This is a mail order bride historical western setting. It’s not without interesting history tidbits about the Sioux Indians that live nearby and the time period this was set in has its own differences. The last book brings us into the 1900s. These books are very clean romance and language. I am invested in these characters and what happens in the town. Book 9- Danny Fredrick is a reporter who comes to town traveling with the circus taking pictures and writing articles. Matilda owns her laundry business but no real love interest. The two hit it off and teach other different things. An idea blossoms but will it come to light before the circus leaves at the end of the week? Book 10- Grace Cranfield is ready for a new adventure. Malcom is ready to take a wife and have children. She comes to Bear Creek and has some adjustments since she came from money with running water at her parents house but the west is behind the times. Book 11- Thomas places a mail order bride ad after his sisters talk him into it. Maymie sees the ad and begins writing him. Her big hang up with meeting a man, is her own insecurities about her figure but what she saw as a weakness becomes a strength in the west. Book 12- This might be the best book out of the series. Rachel is playing hard to get mainly out of pride and the circumstances she was put in. Salis has always tried to make a good life for his younger sister despite having to do some questionable things along the way. The narrator had a good cadence for the story.”
Bear Creek Brides: Books 5 – 8 “This boxed set is the books 5-8 in the Bear Creek series. This is a mail order bride historical western setting. It’s not without interesting history tidbits about the Sioux Indians that live nearby and the time period this was set in has its own differences. These books are very clean romance and language. I am invested in these characters and what happens in the town. Book 5- This book focuses on newcomers Dimitri and his sister Sandy. Dimitri places a mail order bride ad which is answered by many but Emily is the one that catches his attention. She is a different kind of woman with her dress and actions but this intrigues Dimitri. Book 6- This book is about Tanner, the town’s deputy, and a newcomer Bethany. Outlaws threaten to burn the lands and kill people so the townspeople and Sioux work together to stop them. Book 7- This book is about Barthelme, the pastor, of Bear Creek and about Samantha, one of the sisters that previously came to town with the outlaws but had redemption turning on them. A tragedy strikes which gets Samantha thinking differently about men. Several weddings happen during this book, I wonder who is left to marry 😉 Book 8- This book focuses on Peter, a ranch hand, and Shirley, one of the sisters. A blizzard causes some issues and a sweet Christmas comes shortly after. The narrator had a good cadence for the story.”
Bear Creek Brides: Books 1 – 4 “This boxed set is the first 4 books in the Bear Creek series. This is a mail order bride historical western setting. It’s not without interesting history tidbits about the Sioux Indians that live nearby and the time period this was set in has its own differences. These books are very clean romance and language. I am invested in these characters and what happens in the town. Book 1- Matthew & Jenny we’re the focus of this book. There is trouble between the miners & the Sioux, Matthew tries to smooth things over but someone gets hurt. Book 2- Jacob & Rosa were the focus of this book. Several miners start getting sick but no one knows what is causing it. The Sioux come to their aid even though the townspeople are very reluctant of their remedies but when the doctor falls ill, they agree to accept. This bridges the tricky relationship between the Indians and the miners. Book 3- Nancy is escaping her abusive father and seeking a destiny she hopes is awaiting her. This book focuses on Dan and Phoebe. Misunderstandings come between them but once she faces her past it helps her see things differently. Book 4- Trouble comes to town for the Sioux. The townspeople and the Indians work together to prevent them being forced from their lands. Edward pursues an Indian woman but her father stands in the way of the union. The narrator has a smooth and nice range of voice. This review has been left on BookBub , Goodreads, & Audible.”
Her Lucky Charm “Hawt!!! 🔥 This reverse harem story has a lucky theme. Rose is usually lucky in all aspects of her life but she hit the jackpot with her 3 lucky men. The narration was great with all the different voices. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Bad Breed MC “This story was action packed and had several steamy love scenes, a forgotten past brings our main characters together again. I wish the story was longer and would love more in this world! I do appreciate there is no cliffhanger and is a HEA. This is a duet narrated audiobook and the narrators did a good job. This review has been left on Kobo, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Out of the Wild “After a plane crashes, the survivors are left to fend for themselves. Seven years pass and no one has come looking. This story is a forbidden romance since the group has rules in place that no one can touch each other. There are good reasons for these rules but Cade and Lena decide to leave the group in search for help but they face some challenges getting there. I have several unanswered questions for this standalone and I wanted to know more. Please let their be a 2nd book! The narrator was enjoyable and set a nice pace to the story.. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
SEE ME, SEE ME NOT ““Evil doesn’t sleep, doesn’t rest, doesn’t forget.” This is the 2nd book in the Gavert City series but the story stands alone, although mentions of it are in the first book. This one is definitely just as twisty as the first with the cult focus and the disappearance six years ago of Mellie Gardner. These characters have been through so much emotional damage from their pasts but still have a lot of fight for life left. I would say the romance is mild but i think it’s expected for YA. The narrator, Megan Carter, has so much talent! Not only does each character have distinct voices but she sings too! Very enjoyable performance. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Wanted “Who doesn’t like a sexy lawman playing a cat and mouse game? This story may be short but it’s got a lot of action packed in it, literally. The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life. This review has been left on Audible & Goodreads.”
FEAR ME, FEAR ME NOT “This is a YA suspense and romance story. It’s set in a small town in Texas. I felt like the theme and characters are appropriate for this genre. I saw several reviews about the language which didn’t bother me and it’s reality how young adults talk. I really enjoyed having the killers point of view woven into this story which you don’t always get to see that layer. The narrator was new to me and I thought she did a pretty good job. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Roxie “Roxie has led a harder life than her triplet sisters who we’re both adopted out and given a good life. When her ex comes back into her life, thing heat up quickly. This book has to be my favorite of this 3 book series. I think it’s in us to root for the under dog and she was dealt a crappy hand but persevered. The narrator was perfect for this part and gave each character a different voice which i love. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Maxie “Maxie was the last one to find out she is a triplet and the family that she knew could be completely different than reality. Zac, the sheriff, is there to catch her faint of surprise and help her navigate this new discovery. They have several hot sex scenes together. The narrator was new to me and did a good job. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Lexie “This book is first in a series. Lexie works hard to prove herself to her family, more specifically her father. With an expert on board, making changes with the organization, her job is on the line. Cam is always making eyes at her while keeping the business on track but he also wants Lexie. He helps her through the tough discovery of finding her twin and realizing her adopted parents split her from her sister. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Inception: A Dystopian Thriller “This story really gets you thinking how quick life can change when power is used against people. The story was fast paced and intriguing to find out what happens next! The narrator was soo good and versatile. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
Craving the Heat “This story has high action and fear for Becca. Luke has taken her against her will and isolated away from everyone she knows, although they think she died. Sam could not believe it for one second even when others were doubting it. His love for Becca was strong and it guided him into the fight for their lives. I have left this review on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Burning With Desire “Becca & Sam had landed theirselves in jail after they went poking around where they didn’t belong. Becca has a strong suspicion she knows who is responsible for setting the recent fires but the police are looking nowhere else but her as a suspect. Hottt shower scene 🔥 Becca is torn between relations with Sam & Luke. This story turned completely different than I thought it would; it definitely got my heart rate up. This review has been left on Audible, BookBub, & Goodreads.”
Caught in Flames “Rebecca is a badass firefighter who also tests out new equipment. Her brother died in a tragic fire 10 years prior and it still weighs on her. When she is put in the same area that his “accident” happened, weird things start happening. She starts to speculate that maybe the incident that took her brothers life was not an accident at all and the person responsible is now coming after her! With the help of her friend and lover, Sam, they start digging around. The only problem is the police are not on their side and it looks like they might get burned before figuring out all the pieces to the puzzle. This review has been left on Audible, Goodreads, & BookBub.”
F*THS “This story at first glance is just about friends with benefits but I found it had more depth than that. Teddie has a secret that she doesn’t share with many people. When she starts hooking up with Asher, they both start catching feelings but neither are at a place to commit. Then there is Reggie, who is both their friend and sometimes lover with Teddie. Where does everyone stand? I am curious to see where the story leads with book #2. This review is on Goodreads & Audible.”
The Billionaire’s Assistant – Part 1 “This is part 1 of a 4 book series. Abby is a publicist who is very good at her job which she has to be since her client is a billionaires son. Nick is always doing crazy stunts that Abby has to smooth over. This was a fun listen and you can see the relationship start out as friends and start growing into something more. Nick needs to boost his image but maybe Abby is just the girl to do the trick.”
For Love or Money: A Contemporary Mid-Western Romance “This is a tale of two brothers wanting the same woman but for very different reasons. Theresa comes back to her home town in Montana. She finds the guy (Jeffrey) she fell for growing up is now divorced but he has basically sworn off woman after his wife cheated on him. She ends up meeting his younger brother, David, and they hit it off pretty well. He even asks her to marry him which she agrees to even knowing her feelings for Jeffrey are so much stronger. David’s motives are not pure as he got into some money trouble and he finds out that Theresa has an inheritance coming to her from her father on her 30th birthday. Little does she know, David has a little problem though and he cannot stay with one woman. He also fathers two children due to his carelessness. He even calls himself a “sex addict” and belonged to sex clubs. The attraction she feels for Jeffrey keeps pulling her back to him and they end up getting caught in the act. The sequence of events works out more in her favor and what Jeffrey and Theresa have is true love. This story does end up having a happy ending and has lots of steamy scenes. This review has been left on Audible and Good Reads.”
