Hilarious! Loved,,,, Loved… Loved this novel! I had to hit pause several times because I could not hear the story over my laughter! I have become a fan of MacLeod’s books! I love her humor and writing style.

The narrator – Stephanie Murphy is amazing and has just the right timing to express the humor of MacLeod’s written word. Stephanie is in my top 10 narrators and have often done book searches by looking up her name and seeing what Authors she has narrated for and made selections based on that.

It was an interesting audio book. Both of the main characters wouldnโ€™t admit to their true feelings…(Which drove me nuts threw out most of the book.๐Ÿ˜‰) Yet I found I couldnโ€™t help but root for them and was intrigued in seeing what was going to happen next. In the end I found myself invested and happy with the outcome.. as for the narration , Stephanie Murphy does a VERY good job with the voice overs and fitting to the character. I definitely enjoyed this audiobook!!

Miranda MacLeod has become one of my favorite authors. Waltzing on the Danube is a bit of a slow burn with the love between Eleanor and Jeanie. Jeanie has the patience of an angel with the sometimes rude Eleanor. Stephanie Murphy, as usual, does a great job with narration.

I’m beginning to appreciate MacLeod’s writing more and more, especially her humour. The premise itself was hilarious – Two American women boarded what they had thought was a lesbian singles cruise only to find out they were the only two eligible women around because of a ticketing mishap. And I thought it was pretty clever to have Jeanie and Eleanor as complete opposites and yet at the same time have them stuck with each other for two whole weeks with literally no other dating options.

It’s lighthearted and I’m glad I listened to the audiobook instead of reading this one because it was great hearing Jeanie sound so excitable about everything. And she complemented Eleanor’s anxious and OCD self really well.

This is my first experience with Stephanie Murphy narrating and I got used to her pretty fast. I thought her voice suited the lightheartness of the story, though somewhere in the middle, it became a little hard to distinguish Jeanie from Eleanor.
