This is Annie and Deke’s/the Finder’s story. Annie is Zak’s sister from Suspicious Mate. This was a great addition to the series. Deke is a predator and when he scents his mate Annie, he took her to his home, which was in a cave. It seemed like a really modern and sophisticated cave considering the electronics he had in there. He ravishes her and even bites her, which later causes some issues. When he leaves the cave, she escapes. After Annie’s escape, Deke was bound and determined to find her. I love how Ms. James writes her heroes when they find their mates. This was a very good book. As always, JT Farrell did a great job with the narration.
