Description

All men are the same – smug, deceitful, and not worth her time or trust. Why should this one be any different?

Life for a beautiful actress in a travelling gypsy caravan is not all glitter and roses.

After the womanizing scoundrel that headlines the show toyed with her heart until it broke, Caitlyn learned that no one in this world is worth trusting.

Now all she dreams of doing is leaving the caravan and escaping for a normal life – peaceful and debt-free.

So when the caravan pulls into Daisy Creek after months on the road, their arrival to this small Nebraska town is like a breath of fresh air for Caitlyn.

Life in Daisy Creek is calm and wholesome – the exact opposite of life with her travelling troop and, more than ever, Caitlyn longs for a fresh beginning.

Then one night, she meets Bentley Clayborn.

Bentley is shy and courteous – nothing like the other men in her life.

But Caitlyn knows she must be wary.

A man like Bentley is just too good to be true – and Caitlyn is determined not to fall for the “nice-guy” act again.

But as they spend more time together, Caitlyn finds herself beginning to trust her feelings for Bentley…and when the troubles in her life become too much for her to handle alone, there is only one man she feels she can turn to.

But is Bentley truly worthy of her trust?

Dreams of a Bride is a heartwarming story about learning to trust love. As Caitlyn slowly opens up to Bentley, she finally manages to let someone into her life – but will she ever let him into her heart?

  1. Faith

This is a delightful romance with wonderful characters and some adventure thrown in as well. There is a new approach as an entertainment caravan as the stage. It is clean and sweet for Christian readers, I’ve enjoyed all the books I have listened to in this series. Each book can stand alone, but listening or reading them in order adds to the reader’s enjoyment with a little more background from the previous books.

The narration is not the 100% best I’ve listened to but does not detract from the story.

I requested this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.

  2. Danny Harr

This is another great book in this series. It holds your interest from first till the end. There is plenty of excitement in this book. There all good but this may be my favorite one. I recommend starting at book one but they can be read separately. Gina Dobbs does an excellent job narration this book. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review.

  3. Misty

Fantastic book by Amelia Rose. The Daisy Creek series is wonderful. This book is very different than the others in the series, yet blends well in with the rest of the series.

  4. Benita Dilley

A lass who is travelling show performer arrives in Daisy Creek where she attempts to escape the devilish shows schemers holding her captive to work off her deceased father’s debts.
