This book has steam coming off it as we see how it all plays out. I love Lola. She thinks she knows it all, and I love watching her views change. The dynamics of Walter and Chris is exciting to watch as they each form bonds and feelings. It’s a fun listen, perfect for an afternoon escape into their lives.
Jack Calihan and Vivian Bradford make my ears happy as they bring this book to life. Calihan has that edgy, alpha voice, each man a different sound, but perfect for the character. This is my first listen by Vivian Bradford and I thought she pulled the essence of Lola right into voice. Together they blend and form a superb listening experience.

I enjoyed this book, it has interesting storylines that are entertaining from start to end. The characters are complex and well developed. Lola is a reporter who is career orientated, she is driven to succeed and will go above and beyond to get the info she needs to get the job done. For her next report she is working on an exposé of two popular football players, Christopher “Chris” Madden and Walter Sheppard, she knows them from college, they are cocky players and she wants to show the world how they really are. As a top reporter in her field they agree to an interview but not until they get to know each other a little better. Walter and Chris remember her from college and it is not all good and they come up with a plan of their own. The three get together, they get along great and the heat and chemistry between them is smoking hot. Everything goes as plan for the three of them until it doesn’t and unplanned feelings happen. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a fast paced story that is plotted out nicely with plenty of drama, some angst, heartfelt moments and some hot and steamy romance. Shae Sullivan, thank you for this great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Jack Calihan and Vivian Bradford are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. They capture the characters emotions as well as the drama of the story which can be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

This was my first Shae Sullivan’s book. Cocky Players is a steamy enemies to Lovers Menage Sports Romance. The storyline is fast-paced, fun and steamy, filled with a little drama. The characters are great, and they share a sizzling chemistry. The story has a great ending. Jack Calihan and Vivian Bradford did a great job with the narration. #AudiobooksUnleashed

What happens when revenge turns into love? Cocky Players is part second chance, part revenge, part enemies to lovers and part sports romance. In theory I should have liked this a lot more than I did. Cocky Players was sexy AF with two alpha males and one career-oriented woman. All three out to destroy each other. I didn’t really like Lola. Walter was okay. I liked Chris a lot though. His combined alpha with a heart is what made him the best. Lola’s backstory pushes too close to cheating for me, towing the line as to if cheating or not (I’m leaning toward yes due to her actions and lack of communication.
