This was a very short book about Gabe and Anne before the other couples were together. Anne can really hold her own and she demonstrated that on a ship to the US where there was a nasty snob of a woman. I love how Anne put her in her place in front of those she tried to belittle. I would have loved for that scene to be much longer or for them to run into her again. As in the other books, J. T. Farrell did an awesome job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Excellent audiobook I love how characters from other series are mentioned. Delta James never fails to disappoint me. JT Farrell was great as well. I slow the speed down to a .9 sounds better for me. JT Farrell was great.
