You Can’t Be Twelve Forever

Description

He was a little boy when they came. He couldn’t remember much before it all changed. All he knew were the concentration camps, and the loudspeakers that spoke every day, saying, “We are here because we love you. Your planet will become a paradise.”

If that was the case, then why were the weak eaten in the dark?

A short story by Derwin Lester illustrating the passing wisdom on to the young. I see that in times of crisis a young boy must grow up faster to assume his responsibilities, contrary to times of peace when he can remain a boy longer and enjoy life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
