Of course, he tames Rowan, but the fun is the way it happens.
I listen to these stories while driving. Sometimes I worry about having an accident when I get too involved and the book still playing. lol But, seriously, the books are great and Jack Calihan is one of the best narrators!

I love narrator Jack Calihan! He has done an awesome job with this story, and his sexy deep voice brings Alaric and the story to life, you feel you are in the world experiencing everything! Delta James did a wonderful job with the characters and story line. I highly recommend this book!

Loved this book!! Rohan is the perfect she-wolf and perfect for Alaric. Alaric is not only a Warlord but the perfect Alpha to being Rohan to heel. I loved how Rohan did not just cow down to Alaric but made him work for it. I also like how they were able to work together to rule together in the end. There is always room for love and compromise in a partnership. Great book and storyline. I look forward to more in the series. I adore the narrator and what he brings to the story. The emotion and sexiness is off the charts hot!!

Warlord was a fun shifter romance that kept me listening. The push and pull between Rowan and Alaric lead to some very steamy tones. I really like jack Callahan’s voice. My only complaint is that I would have liked an epilogue.

I listened to the audio book of this story. I thought that the narration was well done. I also think the narration served to intensify the conflict, the battles, the sexual tension, and the spankings.

This book is almost a continuation of the Wayward Mates series, but in the future. The twist in the book is that the future is more of a return to the past.
Once again, we get a strong, intelligent, independent, alpha female wolf in Rowan. Alaric, the warlord, is the dominant alpha who is determined to have his fated mate submit to him. Alaric and Rowan have off the charts chemistry in their matching of wits, their designing battle plans, and their sexual tension.
The shifter part of the book didn’t take a backseat, but the action of defending Calon Onest was strongly at the forefront. Another book that was hard to put down. Actually, I didn’t, I just read until the wee hours of the morning until I finished the book.
I am so hoping that Gareth, Tristan, Sloan, and Arielle, to name a few, get their own books. If spanking and intense sex scenes offend you, I would suggest you take a pass on this book.
