Well, not really. This 2nd book picks up directly after the 1st with a nice intro/background start. Our poor protagonists are “damaged” by life events, both traumatic and routine, and have a hard time dealing with that will trying to grow their own relationship. Between the Press and the “Ex” drama, its’ a struggle. Still, the story is progressing, albeit slowly.
