UNLIKELY REAPER: A Short Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance Prequel

(3 customer reviews)

Reaping. Killing. Being the judge, jury, and executioner of the world. That’s who I am now.

All to save an innocent life.

The heavy burden of what I am and what I must do weighs on me every day, but starting a new job at a hospital is a chance for me to find my place in this world. Unfortunately for me, a hot doctor, my powerful boss, and a sweet male nurse have taken an interest in me.

I don’t want to drag them into my supernatural world. I don’t want their blood on my hands. But these men…they aren’t what they seem. And while I might be trying to protect them, someone may need to protect me from them.

Unlikely Reaper is the prequel to a brand-new series of paranormal reverse harem books featuring a female grim reaper, shifters, vampires, gods, and more. It’ll take you on an emotional ride with a heavy dose of steam, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.

This is such a great prequel. I just loved Jules’s character and the unique setting with all the different types of supernaturals. I was immediately intrigued by her past life and current situation. I really feel for her. The three guys she works with have a story of their own as well because we get to hear their points of view too. The narrator was good, but she had a an almost robotic, monotone inflection that was only made tolerable when I listened to this at 1.3x speed. That’s probably why the 1hr and 46 min flew by so quickly. Nevertheless, I so want the next book to be released! The chemistry between Jules and Ajax was just too hot.🔥 Contains mature scenes, so 18+ only.

This was SO GOOD, from start to finish and while it may be a prequel, clearly no shortcuts were taken here. It’s packed with brilliant character development, excitement, action, real feels and I’m not just talking romance, conflict, drama, wit …

I couldn’t get enough and my only complaint is that it ended & I’m too broke to binge-read the rest of the series right now. This was an excellent read, very well executed and left me wanting more. The more I read of this author, the more of her work I want to read. Well played.

    4.5 stars.
