This book was a take on Cain and Abel. I am not sure how I feel about this book but I really enjoy Sara Fields’ books. I was not bored at any time. Ruby was feisty but was no match for Cain’s magic. All in all, this was an enjoyable book. Heather Firth did a great job with the narration.
