Description

Sometimes, even fate needs a little nudge out the door. Billy Fox is content with his life in Daisy Creek, living the work-driven life of a bachelor – unlike his eldest brother, Roy, who is married with two children.

But Roy is less than satisfied with his brother’s situation, believing that it is time for Billy to settle down and build a family of his own.

And so Roy advertises in Billy’s place – for a mail-order bride.

Ever since the death of her father left her penniless, Luna Johnson has had to fend for herself.

Leaving her dreams of having a family and home of her own behind her, Luna is employed as a housekeeper and faces the prospect of another cold, harsh winter alone.

But then she finds Billy Fox’s advertisement for a mail-order bride.

Luna believes all her prayers have been answered at the prospect of marrying Billy. Before long, she accepts his offer of marriage and travels to Daisy Creek with high hopes for her future.

Finally made aware of Roy’s schemes, Billy doesn’t take well to his brother’s efforts on his behalf – and his anger crushes all Luna’s hopes of marrying and starting a family.

Now without the prospect of marriage, Luna must rely on help from the other members of the Fox family and make the best of her new life in Daisy Creek.

With Luna deciding to remain in town, Billy is determined to keep her at arm’s length – regardless of his attraction to her.

But Luna is still willing to fight for their relationship – and although she doesn’t know it, Billy can’t seem to stop his feelings from deepening each time he sees her.

The Misled Mail-Order Bride is a passionate story of longing and desire. Will Billy finally manage to put aside his pride long enough to open up to Luna? Or will he let his guard down just a little too late?

I highly recommend this book and series. Amelia Rose is a very good writer and Gina Dobbs is a very good narriater. I received a copy of this book from audiobook unleashed but that has no influence on my review.

Another fantastic book in the Daisy Creek series. Many times once a series goes past 3 or 5 books people may lose interest. However, with this author, you won’t lose interest. Every book in this series is very unique. This book is written well and there are characters with depth and personality.
