Description

Wealth might buy many things – but it can never buy true love.

Barbara Greenfield needs a new life. Having grown up surrounded by luxury and status, Barbara has known the benefits that come with wealth. But now that her family is gone and she is left alone in the world, all she truly wants is to start over somewhere new. And so, her dream leads her to Daisy Creek, where Barbara hopes to build a new life. One that is peaceful, quiet, and all her own.

If there is one thing Zion Callaway has in spades, it’s peace and quiet. Living a simple life, farming, and raising his dairy cows, Zion has little need for wealth or society and prefers to keep to himself and his own company. But when he meets Barbara, her beauty and sophistication draw him in like no other woman has before, and he decides that his feelings for her are worth taking a chance on.

Barbara is charmed by Zion’s easy personality and cannot help but be swept up in the romance of his simple country living. Suddenly, she finds herself opening up to Zion more than she ever expected to. And yet, even as they grow closer and their bond deepens, Barbara knows that if Zion should learn of her true wealth, then everything would change between them. But how will he feel if he finds out she has deceived him?

The Homesteader’s Secretive Bride is a heartwarming romance about the true meaning of love. Will Barbara find the courage to trust Zion with the truth? Or will her fear make her lose him forever?

  1. Danny Harr

This is a great book. Barbara led a nice life with a lot of money. She wanted more. She moves to the west and meets Zion. She and Zion starts courting. She keeps her wealth a secret. Which never ends good. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. Gina Dobbs does a great job narration this book. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review. Thank you.

First of all, I love the cover. It is very similar to the others in the city and lets you know the series and number in the series it is.

I loved the evolution of Daisy Creek so far and this enhances it. The characters are fantastic and the writing is great. The story was great and I loved “seeing” characters from the other stories. Gina Dobbs is great as narrator.
