Description

Two members of a wedding party and polar opposites in every way are forced to share a room for a night. What begins as a disastrous reservation mix-up may just end up being a date with destiny.

The newly jilted Ginny is feeling awkward as ever at the ritzy Napa Valley wedding. Her tight bridesmaid’s dress isn’t helping matters, and neither is the presence of a perfect-looking groomsman, who wants to dance with her of all things.

Sam has been admiring the quirky beauty all night. He’s got a feeling about her that won’t quit. She’s not his usual type, but maybe that means she’s the one he’s been waiting for. When fate takes a turn and the two are forced to bed down together, Sam can’t believe his luck. But the stubborn and difficult Ginny isn’t in the mood for a rebound or a one-night-stand. And she certainly isn’t in the mood for true love.

The debonair Sam has exactly one night to convince his bespectacled (as well as skeptical) goddess that they are meant for one another.

This particular bridesmaid is going to get very lucky. That is if she can let go of her fears and allow this modern-day prince to give her the fairy tale ending she deserves.

    Terrific Story & Audible 🎧4.5 Sweet & Delightful Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is an enjoyable, light hearted delight. It is well written and well told with an interesting storyline that is captivating from start to end. I really liked the two lead characters, Virginia is too funny, when she speaks she has no filter at all. What comes out of her mouth is hysterical. Her recent breakup has left her broken hearted and with some low self-esteem issues. She is a bridesmaid for her best friend and is paired with Sam, a friend of the groom. Same is a nice guy with a sweet disposition. Virginia had caught his eye once before, he not only likes what he sees but he is amused by her quirky personality and snarky mouth. I loved how patient he was with her, letting her be herself and handling her emotions with care. This is a fast paced sweet romance and I loved every word of it. Tessa Bowen thank you for this great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Logan McAllister is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He does a great job with projecting the emotions of the characters into his performance. He set the perfect tone for the story and landed the humor and banter with ease. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Ginny is going through a tough spell, dumped and damaged, eating ice cream to ease the pain. However, there is a hot dog for every bun, and Sam takes a shine to Ginny at their friends wedding. She’s reluctant and he’s persistent. Can you guess at the ending?!? Sweeter than Wedding Cake…
