I was intrigued by the premise of this book, a repo man for magic items, but what I found was a novel about family and undying love. It was not what I expected but it was certainly a great read. This is the first time I’ve read anything by Ms. Krafton and I’ll admit I did anticipate a few of the twists of the book, but not all of them.
Ms. Reece did a good job narrating the book and provided voices for each of the main characters. Her narration certainly helped to keep the novel on track.
I did feel that the end felt rushed. There was a lot going on with different spells and artifacts and it became a bit hard to follow at times. Overall though I would recommend this book, especially if you enjoy the idea of magicians and supernatural beings living among us as typical business and homeowners.

I liked it. It needs a little refining, but overall it is a decent plot, decent pace, good characters. My only problem is I knew the end before it got to it, so the characters should not have taken so long to figure it out. I would love to see a part two.
