Layla’s father wanted her to marry Jimmy but, unfortunately, she thought Jimmy was boring. She tells her father that sex with him is 22 boring minutes. Her father admitted his sex life is better than hers. What an uncomfortable conversation to have with your father! Giovanni owned a chocolate store and Layla would stop in for chocolate. He has lusted after her for quite a while. After she calls off her engagement to Jimmy, Gio asks her on a date. They go out and end up back at her house where they really get to know each other. Gio realizes he wants to spend his life with her, something he never wanted with another woman but Gio had a confession to make. That scene on Gio’s plane was really hot. The ending of this short book was very nice and I am sorry the book is not longer. Lu Banks did a great job with the narration.
