Description

You’d think that basically being in charge of love would be an epic job, right? Wrong. Sure, I can blow some Lust into people’s faces and watch the show, but I can’t actually participate. It gets old, trust me. Same goes for love. I can pass it out like sugar-free lollipops at a dentist’s office, but I can’t get any love for myself. It totally sucks.

I used to consider myself a hopeless romantic, so why wouldn’t I choose to become a cupid? Sounds like a good idea, right? Wrong again. They don’t call us stupid cupids for nothing. I’m stuck in this never-ending afterlife where I’m invisible, lonely, and bitter as hell. And yeah, I’m probably responsible for some terrible matchmaking out there. Sorry, not sorry.

All my bad cupid’ing might be why I was exiled from the human realm. You can do only so much before the cupid bosses get all huffy. Unfortunately, my bitterness carried over into the new realm, and then I attacked a fae prince with Love Arrows. Accidentally. Okay, not accidentally. But hey, he deserved it. What I didn’t expect was for him to retaliate and hit my ass with some crazy magic mojo strong enough to push me into the physical realm. Whoa.

That’s right. This cupid just got a real body. And you know what that means…. Now it’s my turn to get some. Love, I mean. Get your head out of the gutter. Wink, wink bitches.

Author’s note: This is a medium-burn reverse harem story. It includes explicit language and sexual situations. Intended for audiences 18 years and older. As this is a series, there will be a cliff-hanger.

Signs of Cupidity: A Fantasy Reverse Harem Story
    Heart Hassle, Book 1
    By: Raven Kennedy
    Narrated by: Melissa Schwairy

This story is a delight, it is cute, fun and entertaining. Raven Kennedy creates an imaginative world consisting of different realms and beings. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. The lead character, is a cupid, she is unseen by anyone and it is her job to make people fall in love. There are other cupids roaming the world, none have a given name, just a number, this cupid is ML. ML is a bit cynical with humankind, jealous she can not have what she give others, she has developed an attitude and has a mouth on her. She gets pulled from Earth and is re-assinged to another realm, the world of Fae. She gets herself in a bit of trouble with the high Prince of the Fae, she escapes him but is left with a spell where she not only can be seen but she can feel and do all the things she wished she could that her cupid body would not allow. Her escape has her falling onto another island, she had visited this island when she first came to this realm and saw 3 males, at that time they could not see her but she named them in order she would kiss them, #1, 2 & 3. These three turn out to be “Genfins” a different type of fae, they are banished from their lands and are doing time in seclusion. They think she is a spy for the Prince. The story gets more and more interesting, there is some hilarious banter coming from ML and angst from one of the males, Ronak, formally known as #1, he stays skeptical of her thinks she is she devil. #2 and #3, Sylred and Evert do not feel the same. The men all have different powers, Evert aka Stitches heals, Syred calms thru music and Ronak’s power is strength. This is my first novel from this author and I loved it, love the humor she includes, the personality she gives her characters and the world and storylines she created. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Thank you for this awesome story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Melissa Schwairy is a wonderful narrator. She performs the voices for all characters, she brings them to life, gives each their own unique sound and personality. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for this great listen🎧

This book is hilarious. I mean look like a manic because your clutching your sides and laughing out loud hilarious. The main character is so dimwitted you can’t help but love her. The guys are so diverse in There personalities you can only love them. I recommend this for anyone or loves paranormal, rom-com, and naughty jokes.

This book was had me laughing from start to finish, I couln’t get enough, I devoured it in one sittiing. ML is hilarious, she’s charmingly naive, a trouble magnet and has a heart of gold. When her wish comes true, but it isn’t everything she hoped for, there are some serious downsides, and her misadventures are side splitting, I can’t wait to start book 2!
