DNF – I feel like two stars is being generous. But I did get through the first book maybe two thirds of the second before I threw in the towel and gave up.
I hated Diana. There was nothing redeeming about her. Ethan started off okay but I quickly got annoyed with him as well.
The narration was…not great

Book 1: Her Bodyguard
This is the first book I’ve read by Lexy Timms. I’m reading/listening to the book in the box set. The narration isn’t that great so I bumped it up the 2x speed.
Also, I can’t stand Diana. She’s a spoiled, manipulative brat. I haven’t found anything redeeming about her yet, including when she showed her soft underbelly to Ethan.
Book 2: Her Defender
I got to chapter 17 where the main characters had yet another misunderstanding due to not communicating and I couldn’t do it. The characters are juvenile and immature. The author stresses how intelligent they are but I just found them TDTL.
I have my theory on where the threats are coming from but don’t care enough to continue and find out if I’m right.
