From USA Today best-selling author Lexy Timms comes this five-book box set of the billionaire-bodyguard steamy-romance Protecting Diana series.
BOX SET – COMPLETE SERIES!
His security company is the hottest on the market, but that doesn’t mean his job is easy. Ethan Stark has three rules: Never get personally involved. Never get blindsided. And never screw around. Ever.
His Special Forces background, coupled with his family’s resources, have made him successful, but they didn’t prepare him for the politician’s daughter with a body that could make grown men weep, and an attitude that puts his teeth on edge.
He’s agreed to guard her as a personal favor to her father, but he’s beginning to wonder how long he can put up with her spoiled-brat ways. That is, until she sets her seductive sights on him. Now he’s got to keep her safe from a mystery threat while keeping it in his pants. Sometimes he thinks facing off an entire army would be easier….
Books in the Protecting Diana series:
- Her Bodyguard
- Her Defender

Jerry Harkey –
A 25-year-old spoiled Senator’s daughter (Diana) figures the only way to get her dad’s attention is to act like a royal B*tch, all the time. When his and her lives are threatened, in comes ex-special forces security expert Ethan. The rest is pure fluff with nothing really happening except the irresistible attraction of a forbidden relationship between Diana and Ethan. The first book ends in a cliff-hanger and I just couldn’t get past it to the rest of the series, it’s that insipid…

Title: Protecting Diana Box Set (books 1-5)

Genre: Romantic Suspense, bodyguard, military
POV: Ethan, Diana
DNF – I feel like two stars is being generous. But I did get through the first book maybe two thirds of the second before I threw in the towel and gave up.
I hated Diana. There was nothing redeeming about her. Ethan started off okay but I quickly got annoyed with him as well.
The narration was…not great
See below for my reviews on the books I listened to.
Book 1: Her Bodyguard
This is the first book I’ve read by Lexy Timms. I’m reading/listening to the book in the box set. The narration isn’t that great so I bumped it up the 2x speed.
Also, I can’t stand Diana. She’s a spoiled, manipulative brat. I haven’t found anything redeeming about her yet, including when she showed her soft underbelly to Ethan.
Book 2: Her Defender
I got to chapter 17 where the main characters had yet another misunderstanding due to not communicating and I couldn’t do it. The characters are juvenile and immature. The author stresses how intelligent they are but I just found them TDTL.
I have my theory on where the threats are coming from but don’t care enough to continue and find out if I’m right.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobooks Unleashed. This is my honest and voluntary review.
