Description

From USA Today best-selling author Delta James comes a mystery series with a hint of paranormal that’ll keep you guessing until the last minute!

He’s a respected DSI with Scotland Yard; she’s a dishonored history professor running from a scandal.

Five years ago, Rachel Moriarty was caught up in gossip that resulted in losing her job as a tenured professor. She’s in London, focusing on building her exclusive tour business, as well as her life.

Michael Holmes enjoys great success and a certain amount of celebrity acclaim due to his name, his reputation, and his uncanny ability to solve the unsolvable. He is intrigued by the woman who bears the last name of his greatest literary rival.

The veil between the worlds is weakening. Something is trying to come through to bring its malevolence to a new generation. It’s found the key to unlocking the door, if only it can find a way to use Rachel’s innocence to reenter this world.

Can Holmes and Moriarty work together to finally put an end to the evil that was Jack the Ripper?

Welcome to the opulent world of the Masters of the Savoy, where the men and women might be a little different – more than human. The men appeared out of nowhere one day, determined to grab life and look for love. But watch out…you never know what darkness lurks in the shadows.

Publisher note: Negotiation is a mystery romance with steamy heat in and out of the bedroom for mature listeners only. Each book in the series is stand-alone with no cliff=hanger endings.

This is Michael Holmes and Rachel Moriarty’s story. Holmes was great but when he tells Rachel about his origin, she reacts badly. Holmes vows to protect her from the evil that pierced the veil, escaped and has attached itself to Rachel. I love that Roark and Sage were in this book helping Holmes to send the evil back. This book is really good but different from Ms. James’ other books. As always, JT Farrell was outstanding. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Excellent audiobook I love how characters from other series are mentioned. Delta James never fails to disappoint me. JT Farrell was great as well. I slow the speed down to a .9 sounds better for me. JT Farrell was great.
