I did not realize this is Reclaiming Willa until I started listening. I enjoyed it again. Willa and Mac are back together after he leaves for five years to pursue his career (a nice promotion). Mac is an alpha male and Willa is a wild one who pretty much does what she wants. Mac is back in Arizona looking for a fugitive and he tries to protect her after she comes in contact with Eastwick, the fugitive. Eastwick confesses to the murder of his wife to Willa. Eastwick escapes before Mac could catch him and he shoots Mac. While at the hospital, Willa escapes but Mac ends up catching her. He places her in custody for her protection because Eastwick may come after her. He even punishes her when he feels she needs it. This was a very good book. JT Farrell did a great job with the narration.
