Love in Key West

Description

Love in Key West is the story of a spoiled English lord’s humbling journey to find love in America.

Lord Jason Malwbry left England in pursuit of a fleeing heiress. His plan was clear; Catch up to her in Alabama, woo her properly, and return home with a new wife. He certainly didn’t expect to discover and have to overcome his character flaws in the process. Nor did he expect to have to backtrack to find Abigail in Key West. Little did he know just how many surprises the island held in store for him.

This book is a companion to Salvaged Love with overlapping events told from Jason and Victoria’s point of view.. Like all the books in this series it is a story in of itself but tied to the book before and after much the same as we are our own story tied to the generations of our family.

Note: This book is a companion to the series. It parallels Salvaged Love but is told from Jason and Victoria’s perspective.

    Easy Breezy Love Story

I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this cross-Atlantic journey to find love. Jason Mawlbry was up against the wall to step into his inheritance and find an heiress to rescue his family legacy. A sweet love story that was an easy listen. The narration was good and the characters unforgettable.

Having read the first book, I was anticipating moving on to this one. Though Ms. Blackmon warned of some repetition because it was parallel to book 1 of the series, I thought the story could have been told without repeating so much involvement in the lives of the main characters in the previous story. Other than that, I really got into the story after Jason and Victoria left Key West and moved on to England.

The narration was acceptable, though being an English buff, I noticed a number of mispronounced words throughout the book. Maybe needs some editing?
