I loved The Sapphire Scythe so I jumped straight in to this book, I wish I could say it was just as amazing, the book itself was pretty good, but the narration was awful – always check the sample! I was uncomfortable at all the sound effects the narrator added, and the random laughter she added. Book 2 sees a return of Cade, Liliana must sort out her mate problem and team up with Aria and her mates to put a stop to his machinations.
