The Lawkeepers series by different authors is truly wonderful. But this story by Barbara Goss is at the top. A bounty hunter waning justice and hunting for the killer. A woman finagles her way in to identify him. There are a lot of twist and turns and emotions that play out that had me anxious to see what would happen. The narrator was perfect for the voices and with Barb’s words this came together as a must listen! Loved it as I do all of this author’s stories!

1st in a series. What a set up.
Within minutes of starting to read this book, I was filled with emotion. Sadness, anger, shock, interested, and thoughtful are a few that come to mind. The story unfolded nicely and unexpectedly. There were many twists and turns in this fantastic book that had me wanting more. I read this book in one sitting because the thought of putting it down….well, that thought never crossed my mind. The Epilogue. Most times an author just writes about the main characters. Ms. Goss elaborated on some of the people who she introduced you to besides the main characters.This is a great asset for setting up the next book in the series. If the rest of the books in this series are even remotely as good as this one was, I will be buying them all.

This was a nice little western. I have only read a few western books and I really liked this one. The story was action backed and full of loss due to the times and vigilante people in this era. R. William James does a great job.

This story was a western, mystery, and romance all rolled into one. When Logan goes after a bounty, Paulina manages to work her way into going with him. She’s trying to escape her knowledge of the criminal Logan seeks. As her knowledge becomes known, both Logan and Pauline are in serious danger. Can he keep her – and himself – safe?
The story kept me totally engrossed and this is one of the best Barbara Goss books I’ve listened to.

This book has Everything a book needs to be exciting. A Bounty hunter and a stage coach robbery and plenty of excitement. I highly recommend this book. I enjoyed It very much. And also a perfect narrator for a western theme. Logan is a tough lawman and bounty hunter. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review
