This is a good detective story. Gertrude is an old lady that is on a mission to solve a murder. She is determined and does it her way. This is the first book in the series. I will definitely listen to the rest of the books. Darlene Allen did an excellent job narrating this book. Her voice is perfect for these stories. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed and that has no influence on my review.

This book is so much fun! Gertrude is hilarious, the story is well plotted, and the side characters are wonderful.
Darlene Allen did a good job narrating the book.
