This book reminds me so much of a Cinderella story! Stuck in a place so far away from home with no idea of how you will get back and yet luckily enough to find your perfect other half. Another great book with fantastic narration!

I love this Series!
This is the book 7 in the Boys of Winter Series. I love this Series! Noel and Maisie’s story is fun, sweet, sexy and Romantic. They share an instant attraction and an amazing chemistry. I love Noel! He is handsome, and so supportive and protective with Maisie! I love their HEA. I enjoyed my reading and can’t wait for the next book in the Series, Forbidden on Ice, Blake’s story. Avie Paige did a great job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice.

Just what I needed!
There are times when I need something to rejuvenate my listening, and I can always count on SR Grey to help me out. Her writing is smart, has a great story, a lot of humor and always that warm, passion that brings me back to loving romances. This 7th book in the Boys of Winter series is a little different, taking us to the World Hockey Championships with Noel. He meets the beautiful Maisey who has been stranded in Sweden by her less than caring mother. Determined to get back to the states, she is planning to use her feminine wiles on Noel to get him to buy her a plane ticket home. But things are never that simple! What wonderful characters these two are! I love Maisey. She is not only beautiful, but a little naive in her thinking. She is unassuming, finds herself swept up in what is Noel. Noel is just a wonderful surprise. I fell for him immediately. Not only a great athlete, but he is truly beautiful on the inside. This love story is sweet, spicy and all around full of humor and good feelings. I loved it! (Not so much Maisey’s mom though!)
I have never heard Avie Paige before this story and I loved her. She is passionate and has a great array of voices. I enjoyed her pacing and loved the way her voice pulled me into the story. I will be looking for more of her work!

Narrator did a good job. She changed her voice to fit the clueless tone of the female character well. She sounded professional and clear. A good listen.
Sweet romance; Noel is a really sweet guy. He wants more of a permanent thing in the romance department, and I love that! It’s so nice not to have to read about a male character’s manwhore ways. When he meets Maisie, he thinks she’s the one, but Maisie isn’t exactly being truthful. Her horrible mom strands Maisie in a foreign country, so Maisie comes up with a plan to use her feminine wiles to get a hockey player to pay her way home. She meets Noel and the two have a connection, so Maisie starts feeling bad about her deception. Maisie seems to be light in the brains department, so her POV is a bit basic, but she’s nice enough. She’s just a bit naive and should really have a job supporting herself; she’s 21. I feel if she would’ve just been honest with Noel, he would’ve helped her without her hiding truths about herself. Overall, I liked the story; a little more excitement would’ve been good, but the romance was cute. I’d say this is a 3.5, but I rounded up for the good narration.
