Description

One girl… Two werewolf packs… What will she choose?

Samara’s first date with Luke, the hot new guy at school, didn’t go exactly the way she planned. She figured they would stargaze and maybe share a kiss at the end of the night, but she couldn’t have prepared for what really happened. She was bitten by a wolf, and not just any wolf: a werewolf.

After she shifts for the first time, she meets her new pack’s alpha in the woods. While he answers a lot of her questions, he remains in his wolf form during their meetings to keep his identity a secret. She wonders who this mysterious wolf is and why he bit her.

As Samara begins to learn more about her family secret and how it plays into her new life as a werewolf, she realizes that she has an important decision to make, one that could hurt the ones she cares about most. She must choose between two werewolf packs: the one that she’s destined to be in and the one that she feels she belongs in.

Howl is a suspenseful tale of secrets, betrayal, and forbidden romance.

Howl is the first in the Howl series by Jayme and Jody Morse. They are new for me and I really enjoyed their way of telling a story. Meghan Kelly is a new narrator for me as well and she did and amazing job keeping each voice significant to that character.
Shifters? We have them in wolf form. The FMC Samara, has had her entire world shaken up when she gets bitten by a wolf. It continues to be shaken when she finds out her entire life has been a lie. Teenage hormones, angst, ties that should bind and first loves vs lifelong friendships. Tune in to find out just how a 15 year old newly made wolf deals with the new perils in life.
I found this to be cute, entertaining, and could actually see this happening in some small town in the Midwest.
The authors and narrator brought this world to life for me. I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 12.

Wow! These two author is new to me. I had the audio version of this story. This is the first book in the Howl series. This book is fast-paced, and has everything that will have you hooked from romance and suspense, even a few jaw droppers. Howl is an incredible cliff-hanger that leaves you begging for more. Couldn’t put it down until I was done with the book. Can’t wait to see whats next. I recommend it for the teens, who likes to read about werewolves. I found the Meghan Kelly did a wonderful job with voices.
