Description
When Commander Barrick Andel first set eyes on Ryia, she was naked in a cage, held captive by a haughty prince, and at that moment he knew the beautiful, fiery huntress was destined to be his. But despite his intent to return Ryia to her world to avoid the risk of war, her wanton disregard for propriety soon forces Barrick’s hand, and he takes her over his knee and spanks her soundly.
The shameful chastisement merely leaves her need for him burning even hotter, however, and before long, Barrick has cast aside diplomatic protocol and claimed Ryia savagely. But taming his mate will require more than just ravaging her thoroughly, and by the time he is done, she will be begging for mercy as climax after painfully intense climax is ripped from her helpless body.
Publisher’s Note: His Caged Mate is a standalone sequel to The Hunter’s Mate. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

I really enjoyed this shifter book with a galactic difference! Jack Calihan was good as well.

Though quite short this sexy animalistic fated mates short is faced paced, emotional and beautifully created. Mesmerising words and beings.

Ryia was out for a run in her panther form. While she was relaxing, she was taken by a power-hungry jerk of a prince. Barrick was the commander of the ship where Ryia was taken and caged. As soon as Barrick and Ryia saw each other, they both knew they were mates. Barrick didn’t want to keep her because it would start an intergalactic war but he eventually gave in to the mating urge. Ryia was a strong woman/hunter. After Barrick and Ryia mated, the prince gets jealous, knocks her out and steals her away to his home planet where he kills the ruling king as well as his brothers. This book turned out to be pretty good. I like how Barrick, Ryia and another animal the prince captured, set the prince up in the end. I also enjoyed the epilogue that takes place a few years in the future. I think narrator Jack Calihan did a very good job, easily differentiating between both male and female voices. You always knew who was speaking. He sounded very sexy when Barrick spoke.
