Description

It just wouldn’t be Texas without the occasional unpredictable storm, but when a twister rips through Carson Hill Ranch and demolishes almost everything in sight, the family has a long road ahead of them as they try to pick up the pieces and put them back together. In the chaos of the storm, no one notices that Joseph’s wife, Emma, has disappeared. A mysterious phone call lets them know that there are some fates worse than death.

As brothers Anders and Joseph rush in to save the women they love, the end result tears apart the Carson family in ways that no one saw coming.

This is another great book in this series. There is a bad storm that hits Carson hill ranch and destroys everything. There is a lot of love and helping others out
Also a good storyline involving different cultures. I am definitely enjoying this series. Amelia Rose is an amazing writer
And Valerie Gilbert is a perfect narrator for this series. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review. if my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below

Book number 4, this one was a refreshing change. While still romantic, it brought together the entire family during a major crisis. As unpredictable life can be, a tornado rips through the Carson ranch unexpectedly. Some of the family members and ranch hands are home, some are out working, or as in the case of Anders, he was at school and Emma, on her way to visit a friend. Anders returns quickly, bringing his girlfriend Jasmine. She is Hispanic and feels out of place and unwanted at the ranch. There will be some hurdles the two go through, and a major life change that will surprise you. Emma on the other hand finds herself in a very dangerous situation, only Anders and Joseph are on their way to help. I loved this book for it’s sense of family pulling together, very strong unity and willingness to see that each Carson has his own strengths.

Valerie Gilbert again does a wonderful job! Love this series.

Carson Ranch is hit by natural disaster, bringing stress into the Anders Carson’s new relationship, and those of the twins. Excellent characterization by narrator.
