I really loved this book. This is book 6 in this fun, mysterious and magical series and as we finally get some answers to the mystery surround Tamsyn and her mother (which has been a long running story line throughout) I would suggest that you read or listen to the other books in the series to get the full enjoyment and because they are good. I like the characters who work well together and make for an interesting bunch, like the cooking witch aunt show answer to everything is cooking, the mysterious ghost cat, the hopeless sheriff that nobody likes, the glamour witch that puts a spell on everyone, the get rich scheming uncle who is already rich to name just a few. All are fun and likeable just as the new additions to this book. The mystery was interesting and I liked how Tamsyn used magic to travel back in time to get the answers and clues she needs, it works well and is nicely written so at no point does it get confusing. I have already checked to see if there is another book planned for this series, as I don’t want the series to end.
Tamsyn has been tasked with raising a demon baby after his mother ends up in hospital in a coma, the problem is everybody else things he is an angel. The B&B is full of new guests and her coven witch sister’s mother is coming to stay. Tamsyn is given the night off to attend a party when her aunt takes over her responsibilities. Things don’t go well when a tour group lead by her uncle breaks up the party by gate crashing it, then he hosts necklace is stolen. This is not the first robbery carried out at a party but it is the first time the police arrest one of Tamsyn’s B&B guests. She has proof that she didn’t steal the jewerly but someone breaks into her room and steals her things. It’s now up to Tamsyn to clear her name and put a stop to the thefts but is there some thing more dangerous going on than missing diamonds? And curses?
I like the narrator, like the story she seems to weave a spell over you so you can’t stop listening to this story.
