Cade and his brothers’ mother is killed in the beginning of the book. They have ideas who did it but no proof. Cade knows Trey is his bonded spirit even though she is human. They spend one glorious night together and in the morning, he is gone. Trey doesn’t know he is not human. Years later, they meet again and what a nice reunion. The ending was really good and I cannot wait for the next book. Xander Marceaux is a new to me narrator and he did an awesome job! I really enjoy JT Farrell’s work, but Xander was great! I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
