After listening to book one the narration didn’t bother me as much this time. The story was great. Olivia loves Declan but he’s fighting it until someone starts showing interest. Really enjoyed Flynn being a busy body in this book. Looking forward to his story

After hearing ‘Skylar’ I was excited to hear ‘Declan’. It was just as good. Robin Sitten did a good job narrating, the pace was much improved. I like the characters and look forward to more.

Well having read and enjoyed book 1 Skylar, and having met Declan and Olivia in that first book, I could not want to read book 2 which is their story.

What was nice about this book is that I felt as if I already knew both Declan and Olivia a bit, from previous book and so it wasn’t like getting to know completely new characters. Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed reading Declan and Olivia’s story, it’s quite clear that Declan has communication issues to begin with but thankfully he comes to his senses eventually by speaking his true feelings and not making a hash of things yet again.

One thing I will say about this second book, there was a lot less drama and action in the story compared to that of the story in book 1. But that’s certainly not a bad thing, it’s actually a good thing as it means that each book of the series will be different in it’s own unique way.

I really liked the characters of Flynn and Trent, and I’m happy that I’ll get to know Flynn a bit more in book 3 which will be his turn to shine, but I’d love to see more of Trent in the stories, but not sure if that will be the case or not. I’m looking forward to reading the whole series so as to find out.

What I also enjoyed about this story, was being reacquainted with characters Skylar and Luca from book 1, getting to see how they are getting on.

So moving swiftly on to book 3, here I come.
