This is the first book in the series I listened to and I don’t think I missed much by starting with book 3. Tom is murdered at the Midnight Dragonfly, a large estate recently purchased by Vlad, a former resident of the town, now a doctor looking to do some medical studies. After an initial look at the evidence it looks like Lily’s best friend’s husband is guilty, but Lily knows he is innocent. She does some looking and with some help from Dixie, they stumble upon the real killer.
I thought this story was well written and an easy mystery to follow. The narrator did an excellent job with voices and pacing making this an all around enjoyable book.
