Caleb’s Seamstress Bride

(3 customer reviews)

Description

Caleb Reynolds has seen his brothers marry, one by one – dropping like flies. Now, he is the lone bachelor on Reynolds Ranch, and he’s not about to change his status.

He rethinks his determination when the Reynolds take in the Simmons siblings. Ruth Simmons comes to Crooked Creek as a Mail Order Bride, bringing her two younger siblings along with her. From day one, however, it’s evident something dastardly is at play, and she flees to the welcoming arms of the Reynolds clan, hiding from the unknown stranger who hunts her.

Ruth needs protection, and Caleb is able to provide it – but his stubbornness isn’t so easily denied. Can Ruth face her fears and save her family? Will Caleb listen to his heart before he turns Ruth away for good?

  1. Faith

Caleb is determined to stay single and leave home to seek his own adventure. Ruth answers an ad for a mail order bride because she needs to be married. When her dreams of a good man and marriage fall through, her life is about to change and it all leads to a big change in Caleb’s life as well. Through frightening adventure and unavoidable time together, a relationship develops and it ends in happily ever after.

    The narration was quite passable.

I requested this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.

I listened to this book on audio. I really enjoyed his short book. The characters are great and the plot was adventurous. You won’t regret reading or listening to this book, even if you haven’t read the others in the series.

  3. Danny Harr

This is another great book in this series. I haven’t liked Caleb through this series. But after this book about him I started liking him. A girl came to marry someone else but things didn’t work out. She is in Danger. Caleb falls for her. This may be my favorite book in the series. Kasey Logan does a great job narrating this book. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review
