I walked into his office to make a deal. I left as his bride.
This morning I was a businesswoman with no plans to marry, but that didn’t matter to him. He decided tonight was my wedding night, so it was. All he let me choose was the dress he would tear off me later.
When I told him I wanted him to be gentle, he laughed at me, then ripped off my panties. I shouldn’t have been wet. I shouldn’t have moaned. But I was, and I did.
When he threw me on the bed, I told him I’d never be his no matter how he made me scream. He just smiled. The kind of smile that said this was going to hurt and he was going to enjoy every moment of it. Then he bent down and whispered something in my ear that shook me to my core.
“You’re already mine. You always have been.”
Publisher’s Note: Bride includes spankings, rough, intense sexual scenes, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this audiobook.
Initially, I could not stand Grayson because he was entirely too dominant, and he forced Zoe to his way. This started shortly after she entered his office for a meeting. In the beginning, Zoe was a very strong businessperson but by the end, all that changed. He trapped her in his office and home and announced she was his bride. He proceeds to force her to marry him that day, custom-fitted wedding dress and all. Of course, there are reasons why he forced her to marry him, and he explains that after they are married. There is a horrible villain who kidnaps Zoe. Grayson was awesome! My opinion of him changed even though he was still extremely dominant. All in all, I thought this was a very good book. Dahlia Lynde did a very good job with the narration. I received this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.
