Erica and Reed star in this 3rd book which builds again onto this strong series. We continue to know and enjoy all the characters, both Muses and Guardians, and even the “bad guys.” The theme may be the same, but each book improves and revels the layers of personalities, and adds action. Death is not a stranger in the dark moments as our protagonists push to the future. I’m looking forward to continuing the series as it plays out.

This is book 3 in the Muse Chronicles series. This book had more fire, literally 🔥 🌶! Rightfully so for the Muse of passion. Erica, the muse, and Reed, the guardian and firefighter, heat things up pretty quick. This story had a lot of action and a different turn of events.

This series is super compelling!
I binge listened to books 2 thru 7 in this series in 3 days. I’m so glad that the whole series was available in audio. I think Gwendolyn Druyor’s performance of the books just got better and better as the series progressed. She did amazing voices for each of the many characters in this series.
This series is probably best read in order but the author does a very good job of giving you necessary details from prior books so that you shouldn’t feel too lost if you start in the middle of the series.
Neither Reed nor Erica wants a relationship so friends-with-benefits suits both of them. When an ex-boyfriend threatens Erica, Reed finds out what ability the Gods have given him so that he can protect her from her ex-boyfriend and from The Order of the Titans.
This series is so compelling! I know nothing about Greek Mythology but you don’t need to in order to enjoy this series. The characters explain what you need to know as the story progresses.
