Description

Kate Cooper has come home to Paradise Beach to help her mom recover from surgery. After all, who else is going to run the family’s tiki bar? A few months on a Florida island won’t hurt, even if her memories might.

Then Damien Hastings, her high school crush, walks into the bar one night. He’s stunning. Intense. Way more muscular than when they were in high school. And can’t take his eyes off Kate.

When Damien finds out Kate needs health insurance, he does what any gentleman would: ask her to marry him. He’s going to Syria for a year as a military contractor, and he’s loved her for years. It’s the least he can do.

They didn’t return to fall in love. They didn’t expect to have the best sex of their lives. They didn’t plan on a farting dog or a fake engagement. But strange and wonderful things happen on Paradise Beach….

All I Know is book one in Tamara Lush’s Paradise Beach Series. They are all standalone romantic comedies and can be listened to in any order. If you adore hilarious banter, second chances, and steamy sexytimes, this is the book for you!

This was my first Tamara Lush’s book, and won’t be my last. This is the first book in The Paradise Beach Series. This is a great start to this Series. Kate and Damien’s second chance to love story is sweet, fun, and sexy, with a little drama. The secondary characters are also great, and the scenery beautiful! I have read an ARC of this story before, and I enjoyed listening to it. Avie Paige, Paul Stefano did a great job with the narration. Now, I can’t wait for the next book in the Series, All I Want, Lauren and Max’s story, hopefully with an update to Kate and Damien’s story!

First off, I listened to the audio version and both narrators did a pretty good job. I especially thought the female narrator did great. I’d recommend listening if you have that option.

This is a sweet romance with a dash of second chance. It’s a quick story and overall, I enjoyed it. Kate and Damien almost had a romance in high school, but small-town small-mindedness got in the way. In short, Kate and Damien needed to grow. It’s been years since they’ve been in the same place, but Kate’s mom needs help running her bar due to health issues and Damien is on leave from the military. These 2 have great chemistry, and it was really sweet to read about the progression of their romance. Kate doesn’t have health insurance, so Damien offers marriage to help her out. It’s wonderful how much Damien is there for Kate. There’s some good spice to the romance as well. Overall, this is a light, easy story. It could use a little more depth, but for a short story, it felt complete.

This was such a sweet fast paced romance. I loved the quirky heroine and the big sweet hero. I was so glad that they were able to come together after all the years from high school. You could really feel the emotions with the characters. I am anxious to see how things turn out in the next book. The narrators did great as well.

Take Paradise Beach to a sunny day at the beach and you will not be disappointed! This is my first Tamara Lush story, and I really enjoyed it. Kate and Damien went to school together. After a rumor went viral, things looked down, but even years later, their unrequited attraction still lingers. Now Damien sees his second chance, and he is not going to let it slip by. This is a great second chance romance. I love that they have a history and it comes full circle years later. I love the secondary characters too, especially the mothers! What a great jolt of humor! It’s sweet, fun and sexy and we all should have a Damien!

The narration of this flows so well with Avie Paige and Paul Stefano. Each have great voices and give the characters that realistic feel. Paige definitely has a vulnerability in her voice for Kate, but is able to have that love shine through. Stefano has a protective vibe, very sensual and gives you all the feels. I think they compliment each other well and made the listen very enjoyable.
