Heartfelt Cases Book 1: The Collins Case
“I enjoyed this story. The beginning gripped my attention, but it lost some emotional impact as the story progressed. I liked the characters, but in some instances, they seemed unrealistic in their reactions to the events happening in their lives. I liked the story enough that I will look into the next book of the series. Kristin Condon's narration was okay, but her delivery was wooden and inexpressive at times. Sometimes her voice was so soft, she sounded muddled, and it was hard to hear what she was saying, even with the volume turned up on my earphones. I was given a free copy of the audiobook from Audiobooks Unleased, and I have voluntarily posted this review.”
Stage 3: A Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Thriller
“I was very entertained by this post-apocalyptic zombie thriller. Once I started listening to this audiobook, I had to listen until the end as I just had to know what happened in this tale. The story was fast-paced and action-filled. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Evan Kelly's narration was fine and kept my attention. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Snow Ghost
“This was my first experience with Guy Veryzer's work, and I found it entertaining. The short story was about a snowman in Grand Central Station that seemed to grow larger and appeared in different places. I liked the tale as it morphed from a light, fluffy story, into a creepy, get under one's skin, type of tale. Guy Veryzer's narration was great, and his performance fit the story well. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Erupting Trouble
“This was my first experience with Grace Hamilton's work, and I enjoyed it a lot. The book started out slow, but once it grabbed my attention, I was enthralled. I stayed listening to the audiobook until late in the night. The characters were just a regular family thrown into a nightmarish situation, and I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series. Matthew E Berry's narration was good and kept my attention. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
False Prey: A Wildfire Novella (Book 1.5)
“This novella was a microcosm of events that could have been happening in other small towns across the United States during the time described in the "Wildfire Saga" series. I enjoyed this short story and I recommend it to others who enjoyed this series. James Romick's narration was great as he delivered this tale in the style one would expect from a news reporter. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Mountain Man’s Mail-Order Surprise (Iron Creek Brides, Book 1)
“This was my first experience with Karla Gracey's work and I enjoyed it. One of my favorite tropes is the mail order trope, and this story delivered with a great tale about a woman with a secret and a man who feels alone. I listened to this audiobook in one sitting and I am interested in acquiring more of the author's work. Gina Dobbs' narration was great and added to the story's entertainment. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Wildfire Saga
“This was my first experience with Marcus Richardson's work, and I can't wait to continue on with the series. The first three books and the prequel provided edge-of-your seat excitement, non-stop action, and great characters. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre. James Romick's narration was great and added entertainment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Gaia’s Game
“This was my first experience with Ken Stark's work, and I was enthralled from the opening page to the last paragraph. I sat on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen next in this compelling tale. I recommend this tale to others who enjoy this genre. Evan Kelly's narration was excellent, and he added to the story's entertainment. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Violet’s Mail Order Husband (Montana Brides Book 1)
“After having read the blurb and checking out the book's cover, I thought that I would like this story; however, that was not the case. The story started out as interesting. The book introduced three sisters, who are heiresses to a fortune. The oldest sister decided that each sister needed a husband to help with the running of the ranch. Then the characters started acting in ways that seemed out of character. There were some violent acts described that the affected characters just walked away from in an impossible way. The story ended on a cliffhanger. Dave Wright's narration was mediocre. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Filter Sort By In Your Dreams: Book 1 – League of the Moon Series
“This was my first experience with Robert Sanborn's work and it was fascinating. The story was creative and well written. The story was like an onion and as each mystery was presented, there was some hook that led to a deeper mystery that needed to be solved. I found this story to be a fast read and I had to keep listening to the book to find out how it ended. I enjoyed the story and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Timothy Howard Jackson's narration was great and his portrayal kept my attention in the tale. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Case of the Pink Carbuncle
“In this fifth book of the series, Lucy James has partnered with Sylvia to travel to exotic places like Spain and Morocco in search of a rare pink diamond. The story is filled with twists and turns creating a puzzle to try and figure out what has happened to the pink diamond. I enjoyed the story. Andrea Webster's narration was fine and her voice was pleasing. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Case of Billy’s Missing Gun
“I enjoy SJ Slagle's "Sherlock and Me" mystery series as each book is unique. In this story, Lucy James was hired to find a stolen gun that might have belonged to Billy the Kid. The characters are quirky and fun. My only issue is that sometimes the steps to solving the mystery get lost in all the interpersonal relationships of the protagonist with the other characters. Ellie Marshall's narration is fine and she adds to the story's entertainment. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Live Free or Tri: A Collection of Three Short Mystery Stories
“This was my first experience with Judy Penz Sheluk's work and it was quite interesting. I enjoyed the stories. I was entertained by the complete tale that each story depicted, in spite of the fact that each story was short. I am interested in seeking out more of the author's writing. Kate Tyler's narration was great and her style complemented the prose well. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Case of the Ghost Horse
“Lucy has opened her own agency and a customer comes into her office and asks her to take a case located in the country. Lucy was born in the city and isn't sure if she can handle a case in a setting that is so different from what is familiar to her. I find this series to be entertaining and fun. I recommend it to others who enjoy this genre. Laura Darrell's narration is pleasant. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Sherlock and Me: The Case of the Feathered Snitch
“So Lucy gets her dream job by becoming an intern at an actual detective agency, but everything is not as dreamy as she had imagined. I enjoy this series and appreciate the intertwined references throughout the story by which the author uses the character of Sherlock Holmes to mentor the protagonist Lucy James. Kathryn Michaels' narration was fine as her voice is pleasant. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Case of the Starry Night
“This was my first experience with S J Slagle's work and it was fun. Lucy James is a girl that enjoys figuring out puzzles and she is good at it. When an umbrella is left in the theater where Lucy works, she is taxed with the job of trying to find out to whom the umbrella belongs. Lucy feels a kinship with the fictional character of Sherlock who was invented by Arthur Conan Doyle and I enjoyed the way the author incorporated some of the phrases and methodology that perpetrated the original Sherlock stories. I recommend this book to others who enjoy mysteries with convoluted plots and some flashes of humor. Darlene Allen's narration is great and her voice is expressive. I was given a free copy of the audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Syzygy
“Book three is an excellent conclusion to the Saga of the Nothing Mage. I enjoyed the series, especially the second and third books. I recommend this series to others. Spencer Dillehay's narration is great and he keeps the listener's attention with his performance. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Untolled
“This second book in the series was better than the first one. I enjoyed this story so much more. I saw some character growth in the protagonist which I felt was lacking in the first book. The story itself had more twists and was faster paced. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I recommend this series to others who like this genre, but there are some instances where coarse language is used. Spencer Dillehay is an awesome narrator and his narration adds to the story's entertainment. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Nothing Mage
“I was drawn to this book because of the title. I like the title a lot and the blurb was intriguing. The author has written a story with a very complex magic system and I appreciate and like the way that magic was addressed in this story. It was creative and different; however, I just never connected with the main protagonist. Originally, I thought the story was for children, but then coarse language is utilized and I realized it was for a more mature audience. The protagonist named Declan, goes through a lot of events in his life, but he reacts pretty much the same way each time, so there is little character growth in spite of his trials and tribulations. Spencer Dillehay's narration is great. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Hanged Man
“T. J. MacGregor has written a book that described both a murder and a disappearance mystery. Throughout this book, the author has interwoven people with psychic abilities. I like the way that she presents those abilities as nudges, feelings, etc rather than that the practitioner as someone who always gets the whole answer or has full and complete pictures while having a psychic interlude. I enjoy her stories and I recommend them to others who enjoy a paranormal twist within the mystery. Patrice Gambardella's narration is good and her voice is pleasant. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Legends Saga
“Stacey Rourke has reconceptualized Irving Berlin's short story titled, "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow" in a creative and imaginative way adding characters, creatures, and situations from other classics. The series is awesome. Although there are some brutal scenes, the series has flashes of humor, and some romance. I enjoyed the entire series and I recommend it to others. Karen Krause's narration was great as she provides various voices for the different characters thereby adding to the story's entertainment, I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Seventh Sense
“This was my first experience with T J MacGregor's writing and I will have to look into acquiring more of her work. The story was awesome and intense. I was captivated throughout the whole book. I recommend this story to anyone who likes thrillers or suspense novels. Melissa Kay Benson's narration was great and added to the enjoyment of the tale. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Murder And Mega Millions
“The High Desert Cozy Mystery series is special because of the addition of the amateur sleuth's psychic sister Laura. The psychic twist is written in a more believable way, rather than an outlandish one, and I like the way Dianne handles the subject matter. I recommend this series for those who enjoy cozy mysteries. Kasey Logan's narration is delightful and adds to the enjoyment of the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Murdered Mentor
“In this book, Dianne Harman has written about a politician, who has secrets and the people that might want him dead. It is also possible that the senator committed suicide. Mike and Kelly are drawn into the investigation surrounding the senator's death. Dianne's cozy mysteries are convoluted and interesting and I recommend them to others who like this genre. Kasey Logan's narration is great as she provides different voices for each of the characters. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and I have voluntarily left this review.”
The Last Train
“This was my first experience with Michael Pronko's work and I enjoyed it very much. This story is about a detective named Hiroshi Shimizu, who is called out to aid the investigation of the death of an American businessman, because he can speak English well. The story has several twists and turns during Hiroshi Shimizu's investigation of the crime ending in a thrilling conclusion. I recommend this story for those who like this genre and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Peter Berkrot's narration is outstanding as he delivers his oration. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Song of Shadow
“Natalya Capello's writing is creative. In book one of this series, the protagonist, Lorelei, has visions that make others think that she is insane and so she is banished to a remote priory. On her journey there, a priestess encourages Lorelei to join a pilgrimage, which sends Lorelei into a never ending thrill ride. The story is fun and entertaining. The world building is extensive, The characters are interesting and convoluted. I recommend this book to everyone who likes the fantasy genre. Senn Annis' narration is fantastic and adds to the entertainment of the tale. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Ash: Journeys of the Immortal Book One
“Joel Thomas Feldman has written a creative coming-of-age story entwined with a creature of myth. The story was cute and entertaining; however, some of the actions and thoughts depicted seemed a little mature for a girl of only twelve. I enjoyed the story and I recommend it to others who like this genre. Sophia Kasem's narration was good. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Songs of the Dead
“Andy Rausch has written nineteen short stories that involve death in some way. What amazed me the most about this collection is the varied and sometimes unusual way that he approached the subject of death and in one particular instance the story was so outlandish that it was humorous. I enjoyed some of the stories more than others. I do recommend the series of short stories but only to more mature readers as there are instances of graphic violence. Chris Koprowski's narration is great, adding to the enjoyment of the collection. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Annals of the Nameless Dwarf: Books 1-6
“D P Prior has written an epic fantasy. Epic is defined as a long, narrative poem written about a hero and the hero's feats of bravery which in the case of "The Nameless Dwarf" only part way defines the protagonist of the story as he is both a hero and an anti-hero. I loved this series of six books. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I recommend this series of books to those who appreciate the fantasy genre. Mike Carnes' narration is awesome and adds enjoyment to the tale. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Cynetic Wolf
“Matt Ward has written an interesting and dystopic novel in which the action is pretty much non-stop throughout the whole book. I found the world that he created to be innovative and imaginative. On the whole, I was entertained by the story line of how Raek Mekorian goes from being an average teenager to a member of a resistance movement; however, there were times when Raek's decisions and actions were things that I would expect from someone older than sixteen. In spite of that, I recommend this book to those who love this genre and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. David Akiva Klionsky's narration was great as he provided different voices for the various characters. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
The Never Mind (The Never Mind Trilogy, Book 1)
“Cat Meyers has written a creative and entertaining coming-of-age fantasy set in a dystopic world. There were times when I just had to listen to the next chapter as I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. Shelley Reece's narration is great, adding to the enjoyment of the tale. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
The Vanishing Wife
“In this story, Barry Finlay has written about a man who wakes up one morning to find his wife gone, with no message or clue as to where she went. The reader gets a real sense of the main character in the opening pages of the book. The action in this tale builds slowly, but the ending is surprising and explosive. I recommend this book to others who like this genre. Trevor Finlay's narration is good and adds a layer of entertainment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Final Notice
“This was my first experience with Van Fleisher's work and I enjoyed it immensely. I was drawn by the descriptive words in the book's blurb of political satire, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I found a book that was well researched with many interesting facts presented in a way that engaged and kept my interest. I liked the way the author took so many characters' stories and interweaved them in a way that produced a cohesive story that was both entertaining and thought provoking. Chris Koprowski's narration was awesome adding more enjoyment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Gertrude, Gumshoe Cozy Mystery Box Set: Books 4, 5, 6
“This is the second omnibus of books with Gertrude as the main character. She is an older individual, but the reader is not told how old, who is not afraid to try new things and not afraid to forge her own path, even when others don't think there is a path. I enjoy this series. I am amused by the situations that Gertrude and her friends get involved in and I am entertained by their antics. I recommend this series for its craziness and humor. Darlene Allen's narration is great and her delivery adds entertainment value. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Haunting Leigh
“This is a series of books. I listened to the first book in the series and somehow managed to acquire book #4 without having experienced book #2 or book #3 and as long as the reader realizes that relationships are changing and new characters are being introduced, it was not difficult to enjoy this book even though it was out of sequence. I enjoy these stories as they are light and fun and entertaining. I find them amusing; however, some of the content is sexual in nature and there is some cussing so it would not be suitable for all ages. Hollie Jackson does a fantastic job as the narrator and she brings the characters to life with her voice. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Accidental Leigh
“This story is light, fun, and entertaining. The tale is about how a young woman becomes a witch and since she doesn't know what she is doing, how her first spells go awry. I enjoyed the story but there are inappropriate words used and some descriptive sexual scenes. Hollie Jackson is very delightful to listen to as a narrator. She adds enjoyment and excitement to the story with her style. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Gertrude, Gumshoe Cozy Mystery Box Set: Books 1, 2, 3
“This was my first experience with Robin Merrill's work and I enjoyed it quite a lot. The main character in this series is named, Gertrude. Gertrude is of a certain age, but her age is never actually given in the first three books. The reader is told that Gertrude walks with a walker and lives in a trailer with cats. Gertrude does manage to get herself into some awkward predicaments which made me laugh. I recommend this series for those who like zany and outlandish books which bring about laughter. Darlene Allen's narration is good and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Bear Creek Brides: Books 1 – 4
“This was my first experience with Amelia Rose's work and it was enjoyable. Amelia Rose has written about a town named Bear Creek and the people that live there and in the surrounding area. There are four separate and varied stories in this omnibus but each of the stories include some of the same inhabitants of the region. These connections have the effect of the reader joining a community. Amelia Rose's stories are lighthearted and entertaining often depicting an almost paradise here on earth. If you like sweet, chaste, love stories then you are sure to enjoy her work. Alan Taylor does a great job as the narrator and this added to my enjoyment of the series. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
The Navigator
“This is my first experience with Vern Buzarde's work. The story is about the first sentient android which is something that is closer to a reality than it has ever been in the past and therefore the book does bring up some very important thought provoking issues. I found this book to be entertaining and enjoyable and I recommend it without reservations. Eric Jason Martin does a great job with the narration. I requested this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
SEE ME, SEE ME NOT
“The first thing that drew me to this book was the title. I found it intriguing. As the tale unfolded, I thought that the story was going to be about two teenagers finding love even though they were carrying baggage from their pasts. Then the author added a layer of complexity to the story by weaving in the life of the sister, who had gone missing. I found the characters to be believable and the story to be both tragic and glorious. Megan Carter does a wonderful job as the narrator. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Heir to Insanity
“There are five important characteristics to be found in a fantasy tale and this book meets all of them. The elements include a well developed setting, complex characters, a power structure, a conflict, and magic. This story has all the necessary aspects plus one thing more which I find very important and that is humor. There were times I laughed out loud while listening to this story. I enjoyed this saga very much and recommend it to others who love this genre. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series. Andrew Gibson's narration was fantastic and added to the enjoyment of the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Pixie’s Gift
“This was my first experience with Raven Wolfe's work and it will not be my last. The tale was lovely, engrossing, and eerie. I enjoyed the story very much. Christopher Brissini's narration was just impeccable, his voice and tone a perfect match to the story. I requested this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Heiress of Embers
“Although this series has some components from the fairytale titled, "Sleeping Beauty", I felt that this second book was more fantasy driven than the first book of the series. This tale depicted more scenes between Azia, the daughter of Sleeping Beauty and dragons. Azia's search to know about her past becomes more intensified. My biggest roadblock is that this book ends on a cliffhanger also. Melody Muzljakovich's narration is great. I requested this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Queen of Dragons
“J. A. Armitage has combined components of the "Sleeping Beauty" Fairytale and elements of Fantasy to produce a new and creative story that enchants readers from the beginning. The only drawback is that this book ends on a cliffhanger. Melody Muzljakovich's narration is good and her voice is expressive adding to the enjoyment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.”
First Contact
“Marc Everitt has written a creative, entertaining and short sci-fi story with an unusual twist at the end. I enjoyed the account very much. Kevin Theis has done an amazing job as the narrator. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
On the Third Night
“Marc Everitt wrote a creepy haunted house story, with an increasing amount of tension and scariness as the pages unfolded, and ending with a surprising twist. I recommend this story to all who like this genre. I enjoyed it immensely. Kevin Theis does an excellent job with the narration, adding great enjoyment to the story. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
Second Chance
“This was my first experience with Marc Everitt's work and I enjoyed it very much. I will be looking for more of his stories. Kevin Theis does an excellent job with the narration. His voice is pleasing and his style is impeccable. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review.”
The Mechanical Magistrate
“This is my first experience with Greg Hansen's work and I was captivated. The story was interesting, thought provoking, and very entertaining. I will explore more of Greg Hansen's publications. Alan Bruun was an excellent narrator. My original intention was to listen to the first chapter and then take a nap, but Alan's voice and narrative style drew me in so completely that the next thing I knew he was stating the words, "Epilogue". I recommend this novella with great enthusiasm. I requested this audiobook from Audiobooks Unleashed and have voluntarily left this review”
