My Sister’s Fear “This series continues to impress. The characters are all fully developed. The story well written, and the plot has enough twists and sub-story lines that it will plunge you headfirst all the way to the end. I highly recommend. Slater, better at his work as a PI than a carpenter, finds himself in the midst of another hard case that picks up where the first book left off. Determined to do the right thing and avenge the murder of his childhood friend, he goes up against those involved in human trafficking and assisting in the investigation. Maggie, his partner both in business and love, is a force to be reckoned with, and she will do anything to protect her family and those in need. I loved this book and would highly recommend it.”
Blood Trails “The book has an interesting premise, but the police are written more like they are back in 80's than in current day. Police procedures are loosely written. Cowboy Paradise “Whoa. That was one hot read. I could not get enough of it. I loved the characters, and the story was well written. Definitely erotica, so don't read this one at work. I can't wait to read the next in the series. If you like hot cowboys, strong women who are fighting to find themselves, and some "rip the sheets" scenes, read this book. You won't be disappointed! Too Distracting: The Lewis Cousins, Book 3 “The story was definitely "Too Distracting." Once I started, I couldn't put it down. It was HOT. The scenes between the two of them had me fanning myself, and there was enough of a story to draw me in. If you are looking for something to keep your mind off the world at large for a little while, this one will definitely do that. Yum. Double Forté “I found the book engaging and couldn't put it down until it was done. The characters seemed "real" and were so likeable. The book dragged periodically, but the suspense was entertaining. The writing style really touched me. I will definitely read this author again, and I'm looking forward to picking up the next book in the series. Murder in G Major “Wow! This was a great read. Gessie is a protagonist you can cheer and fall in love with. She’s strong and independent but sweet and kind, and when murder strikes, she can’t help but put her nose where it doesn’t belong to help out her friends. A little romance, a little mystery, and a whole lot of fun was the perfect recipe for a book I couldn’t put down.
