Blood Witch Rising: A Jack Ladd Novel: Blood Witch Series, Book 1 “I loved this book. The character development, the story.. So good! Bring in book 2”
Circle of Blood: Books 1-3 “I struggled so bad with this story. My mind kept wandering in other directions.”
Luna Rising: Book 1 “First. I am not really into shifter books. I’ve never been able to get into them. With that being said, I found Luna rising very captivating. Like a previous reviewer stated, it’s a roller coaster of emotions. The narrator did an amazing job and Sara Snow does a terrific job of keeping your attention with the story.”
Taming the Beast “I’m new to this series so I am a little out of the loop seeing as this is book 2. The narrator does an amazing job and the story laid before us has a lot of potential”
The Sinking of Bethany Ann Crane “In a small patriotic every person over the age of 18 decide to get involved with a government experiment that basically suspends and prolongs their lives but doesnt allow them to procreate. Bethany Ann is the only child. At least the only child ever mentioned. As Bethany matures mentally, her body stays that of an 8 year old little girl. As we listen or read you can hear and feel what shes going through from year to year. It's a very gripping story that will tug at your heart strings. Very well written. I cant recommend it enough!”
The Loudest Silence – A Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Novel Oklahoma Wastelands, Book 1 “This is the first zombie apocalypse book that I've listened to by a female author. Kate L. Mary killed it. It's a strong story with strong characters. The narrator Heather Firth fantastic! Although this story focuses a tad more on romance. That's not a horrible thing in a zompoc. But I expected more zombie action. One of the characters Kellan was asked to care and lookout for our heroine Regan who has been basically sheltered a majority of her life. Feelings develop yadda yadda. I dont want to disclose too much as to give away the story. Its definitely a worthy read and I look forward to the next chapter.”
The Brightest Darkness (Oklahoma Wastelands, #2) “Ugh! The cliffhanger! Sooo good! Feeling Kellan and Regans relationship develop more and Andrew.... This continuation is fantastic! Heather Firth slays it with her narration again. Kate L. Mary you've made your fellow Ohioan proud!”
The Wilds Box Set: Books 1-4 “The story and most of the characters themselves are fantastic. I love Donna Augustine's dystopian apocalyptic future. I could easily visualize it. However Dal is very childish throughout the series. I dont feel she develops much. I also did not like how Angel Clark portrayed Dal. Her inner voice was too sultry and seductive while her actual voice and behavior were that of a child with a high pitch voice. If you can block that out while listening or reading then you will enjoy this series a lot.”
The Sweetest Torment “This whole series was amazing! The characters and story as usual is strong. Kate L. Mary makes you feel like you are right there with Regan while shes dealing with her "coming of age" in a zompoc where humans are just as if not more dangerous than zombies”
Zombie Games Origins “I was hesitant to listen to this book at first. I'm super picky about zombie novels. Zombie Games has a great story and strong characters. I really liked Cassie, she's a strong character who is always ready for trouble. However when trouble finally comes along shes a tad too hesitant. I dont want to say too much and spoil it for those who read reviews before reading Im interested in finding out what happens next.”
