From Garden to Grave “What happened to Verity’s aunt? The case has gone cold and she is assumed dead. Now, as her heir, it’s up to Verity to take care of her business and home. As the only newcomer to the area, she finds herself in the middle of a strange set of circumstances that sets her up as a murder suspect. After a bit of a slow start, things picked up. Rickie Blair introduces quite a few quirky characters and some great plot twists. There’s a great ending and setup for the next story. Peter’s Burchard delivered an entertaining performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Digging Up Trouble “Welcome back to Leafy Hollow... with quirky characters, lots of skeletons in the closets, and mysteries to keep you guessing. Verity’s aunt is still missing, but Verity is convinced she’s still alive. If only she could get back to investigating... but there’s a couple of other cases that need her more immediate attention before she becomes a victim herself. Rickie Blair does a great job of keeping the story fun while still keeping you guessing, and Petrea Burchard keeps the energy level up there while delivering a great performance. I’m really looking forward to the next book in this fun series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Baskets & Caskets “Everything is coming together, but can Paislee figure it all out before it’s too late? With a big target on her, Paislee diligently follows all the leads and comes to the shocking resolution. A well written mystery with enough twists to keep you guessing until the end. I look forward to seeing more stories from K.A. Goodsell and narrations by Carrie Coello. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Brooms & Tombs “A bit unbelievable that high school students would be taking the lead on solving the cases, and the adults don’t seem to be very involved. Ignore that fact and you have a decent cozy mystery. Paislee seems to be the target as the bodies pile up and the clues point her way. K. A. Goodsell does a great job of keeping you guessing with the twists and turns. Overall, Carrie Coello does a decent job with the narration. Her performance fits with how I imagined the characters sounding. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Bones & Drones “I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy mystery. Paislee has been around death her entire life with her parents being the coroner and funeral home director for Pine Grove. It’s a good thing her interests lie in forensic anthropology. Now she can put her skills to good use to help discover what happened to the young man who was found at the docks. K.A. Goodsell did a great job of presenting the details in this mystery. There were enough red herrings to keep you guessing and keep you interested in the story. I also found the characters very likable. Carrie Corelli did a nice job with the narration. Her voice was very age appropriate for the characters. There were a few little hiccups with the production, but they didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
White Sheep of the Family (Part 2) “Building on the first book, there is mystery surrounding the assassination of a Lord. Can the Black Lotus Clan get to the bottom of things before they become victims themselves? JC Kang continues the story with intriguing characters in a unique setting. Once again, Natalie Naudus delivered an entertaining performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Thorn of the Night Blossoms (Book 1) “Assassins and spies are hiding in plain sight. Just be careful who you trust... The background is presented and the stage is set for what is sure to be a great series with a strong female lead. JC Kang did a fantastic job with world building and introducing the characters. Plenty of action! Natalie Naudus brought the story to life. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Finding Zelda “Zelda is the one who always seems to hold things together for her family, even if that means giving up her hopes and dreams. As everything around her begins to crumble, she gets some well needed encouragement from an unlikely source. Sue Ann Jaffarian has written a wonderful story dealing with family dynamics and being true to yourself. I love the moments of humor mixed in with the drama. Carrie Coello’s performance was well done. Her portrayal of Zelda fit perfectly. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Town Without Mercy “I am still in a heightened emotional state after listening to Town Without Mercy. Such a well written story that deals with many tough situations... Shadow of Second Chances “Another fantastic historical romance by Barbara Goss! With this being book 6 in The Shadow Series, we get to revisit many of the characters from the prior books. Don't let that scare you off though... Shadow of Second Chances certainly stands on its own. I experienced a few minor hiccups in the audio, but other than that the narration was really good.”
Looking for Love “Another fantastic historical romance by Barbara Goss. I love how each story is a self contained piece, but it has ties to her other stories as well. Tom Jordan is the perfect narrator. I was provided a free review copy of this audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.”
The Housekeeper’s Proposal “Barbara Goss has delivered another well written story. This story brings a bit of mystery and suspense as there is a murder to be solved. Alf has always had feelings for Zoe, but things need to be put on hold, as he and Zoe are not allowed to go to the same college. I was given this free review copy Audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”

Dan McCall’s Bride “A short sweet contemporary romance by Barbara Goss. When a train robbery interrupts a young woman’s trip to become a mail order bride, will she recover her memories and finish what she set out to do, or will her handsome rescuer become her future. R. William James did a day job with bringing the story to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”

Will it every be possible for her to find love and have a family of her own? Jake has strong feelings for Dawn, but does she feel the same? Can he convince her that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks... the only thing that matters is how they feel? Barbara Goss is a master storyteller of clean historical romances. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
A Bride for Nathan “A soldier not likely to survive his wounds... A woman with social anxiety... a little girl who needs a parent... a proxy marriage seems like the perfect arrangement. Nathan’s daughter would have someone to care for her, and Allie would have a child to care for, without a husband, when Nathan succumbed to his injuries. But things don’t always work out as planned. Sometimes it’s even better. Barbara Goss is a wonderful storyteller. I am always touched by her work, and A Bride for Nathan is no exception. The narration by Leonor A. Woodworth is fantastic. She brings out the emotions perfectly. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”

The Secret Diary “It’s a small world and it’s amazing how things have a way of working out. Betsey grew up in an orphanage, not knowing anything about her family. When she’s given a locket that was once owned by her mother, the story of her family begins to unravel. Barbara Goss has such a way of drawing you into her stories. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters. It warms my heart to listen/read her books. Lili Dubuque delivered a wonderful performance. She really brought the story to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
Hope “Such a beautifully written sweet story. When Hope and Daniel are brought together by less than ideal situations, they decide to make the best of things and help each other out. When their marriage of convenience has the potential to become so much more, can they open their hearts to the possibility? I highly recommend you check out Barbara Goss’ stories, you won’t be disappointed! A lovely narration by Jessica Caruso. She really brought out the emotions of the story. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
A Bride for Wyatt “A sweet proxy bride story. It’s time for Vera to make way for her younger sister to take on the role of care giver. Becoming a proxy bride seems like her best option. Wyatt had his heart broken when his betrothed ran off with his best friend. A proxy marriage may be just what he needs. Will Vera and Wyatt develop feelings for each other, or will this be more of a business arrangement? I have been looking forward to the release of a new Barbara Goss story and this one did not disappoint. I’m always left with a warm feeling in my heart after listening to one of her stories. Scott J. Bennett does a great job of bringing the story to life. He’s one of my favorite narrators. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.”
