Nocturnes “I was so excited to see Nocturnes out on audio. I listened to books 1 and 2 in this series and loved them. This one was no different. Here we get Rax's story. It was intense and super hot. I've listened to many books with all sorts of kinky sex in them but this one had one scene that was a new one for me and even had me cringing a bit. Lessa Lamb was cast perfectly for this series. I don't think anyone could have narrated it better. Cal Sanders is a new narrator for me. He also did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.”
Standstill “Standstill was emotional, tragic, sad, sweet, and everything in between. It was the story of Ashlyn and Garrett and how they dealt with survivor's guilt and the loss of someone close to them. It was a beautifully written story that is an easy 5 stars and one I highly recommend. Verla Bond did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.”
Submit XXX Maxim, Book 1 (Club XXX) “I have struggled with this review because dark romance is my favorite genre and I wanted to love this book. I listened to Lana Sky's Painted Sin series and loved it but I just couldn't love Submit. Maxim was brutal and all he wanted to do was inflict pain on Frankie. She willingly accepted it and kept coming back for more but he was just too unlikable for me. I suspect that by the end of the series, though, he'll turn into a decent guy but he's not right now. Zara Eden did an amazing job bringing these characters to life with all their emotions and different accents. I look forward to listening to more books narrated by her.”
Cain (Bones MC 1) “Cain is a relatively short MC romance between Cain and Angel. There is a good mix of danger, suspense, and romance in this story. It held my attention from beginning to end. I think it was a good beginning to what I believe will be an interesting MC series. I look forward to listening to more of Bones MC. Ada Sinclair did an excellent job bringing this story to life.”
Signal 69: Holding Jenna “Signal 69 was a romantic suspense full of danger, sexual attraction and steamy sex. It is the story of Jenna and Finn. She ran from her past and her ex-husband but after an incident that required the police, Jenna came crashing into Finn's life like a tidal wave he didn't see coming. Their attraction was undeniable yet she kept telling herself she wasn't ready for a relationship with the sexy cop. The story was engaging and, even though it might have been a bit predictable, it kept my attention until the very end. If you like romantic suspense, then you'll love this one. Craig A. Hart did a great job bringing this story to life.”
Playing To Win “5 Stars! Playing to Win is a sweet second chance hockey romance. Katie and Jude had a brief relationship in college but haven't seen each other in a few years. When they meet again, sparks fly as their chemistry is hot and heavy. This book is a great start to what I expect will be an awesome series. Liam and Stella both did an amazing job bringing this story to life.”
Rumors “I wasn't quite sure what to expect after reading the blurb, but I've listened to other stories by HJ Bellus and loved them so I was excited to see where this story would take me. It was a captivating story that took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride that was raw and heartbreaking. Frankie was a shell of a girl nearing adulthood after a traumatic childhood when Dalton first met her. With the help of his brother Dalton helped her and showed her how to live again. It is a beautifully written story of healing and hope. It is heartbreaking, heartwarming and uplifting all in the same book. It does have trigger warnings but it doesn't go into any graphic detail. Tyler Darby and Amber Bray both did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.”
Nothing Gray About Fifty “Another highly erotic short story with Joe and Elaine and their steamy sexcapades. They are here to show that sex only gets better with age. I love this series but am disappointed that the rest of these books are not on audio. Elliott Daniels does an excellent job bringing this story to life.”
Mr. and Mrs. Average Joe “I loved everything about this book! I listened to it because it was about an average couple that was similar in age to my husband and I who were married a long time and were also empty nesters like us. Well, that's where the similarities ended. As exciting as their sex life sounds, I think I'm going to just live vicariously through them. While this book had several highly erotic sex scenes, I felt like there was also a story to it with Joe and Elaine and their doubts about taking their fantasies and making them a reality. Elliott Daniels did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. He definitely had the perfect voice for this story. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an erotic story with a more mature couple.”
Marley’s Menage: Romance Menage Series (The Key Club) “This was another steamy menage in The Key Club series. I loved Marley, Rick and Kacey and their story. It was short but highly recommended if you love MFM stories. I will definitely be listening to this entire series. Teri Clark Linden did a great job bringing this story to life.”
Menage: Romance Menage Series (The Key Club Book) “A spicy hot, erotic short story that gets down and dirty rather quickly. There is little character development but that's not what I got it for. I can't wait to listen to more Key Club books. Teri Clark Linden did a great job bringing this menage to life.”
A Review to Die For “Well, this series has certainly been a wild ride! The storyline is unique, memorable, and just plain crazy. This is the final book right now but I feel like there is definitely more to this story. If you are interested in something different, then you should give these books a chance. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Mary Hildebrandt did a good job bringing this story to life.”
Becoming Karen Carter “I listened to One-Star Review and enjoyed it but then I realized there was a book 2 which is this one, Becoming Karen Carter. I actually liked this one better because it was Jessica's side of the story and another piece to the puzzle of Karen Carter. It is entertaining and bizarre at the same time. Both Lana and Jessica are unhinged and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. It's a unique storyline with unlikable characters. Mary Hildebrandt did a good job bringing this story to life.”
One-Star Review “This book had a unique storyline and kept me interested from beginning to end. I found the twist to be unexpected but a good way to end the story. I'm just glad I've never given any one-star reviews! Mary Hildebrandt did a good job bringing this story to life.”
Twisted Crown “This is written as a fairy tale but this is anything but an actual fairy tale. It is a horrific story of domestic violence with lots of triggers in it. The saddest part of this book is that it is actually a true story. No one should ever have to endure years of abuse like that. I applaud E.L. Dubois for not only having the strength to survive her ordeal but also to have the courage to write about it and share it with her readers. I think it is so important for people to hear these stories to realize that it is so much easier to just tell someone to get out of an abusive relationship than it is for them to actually be able to get out. Luckily, this story does have a happy ending but, unfortunately, there are so many others that don't. Sarah Sampino did an amazing job bringing this story to life.”
Taken as Collateral (Mafia Masters, Book 2) “So many secrets and lies with lots of twists and turns in this dark mafia romance. I was hoping I would know some of the characters from His as Payment (book 1) but the only name I recognized was Dominick. I'm enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book coming out in audio. Jack Calihan did a good job bringing this story to life.”
